Since 1958 the Olander Parks System has served the greater Sylvania community with a variety of land and water activities. In an effort to better connect citizens to the outdoors (and amenities found in these parks), Thread created a new brand (name, logo and tagline) to help better educate the public and create a stronger connection to citizens whose homeowner apportionments support the recreational facilities. A logo mark inspired by sun, earth, and water with the tagline “Explore More” now more appropriately encourages residents to get outside, enjoy the outdoors and explore the parks found literally in their own backyard.
To appropriately introduce the new brand to the community, Thread orchestrated a brand launch event with more than 50 community leaders and local media outlets in attendance.
